All Film


A September wedding on 35mm and medium format film.


This wedding was the sweetest day from start to finish. I had the honor of assisting Elizabeth Grace Photography, which gave me a little extra time to slow down and shoot some film.


Believe it or not, film isn’t easy to use on wedding days. Moments move fast—faster than film usually allows. With digital, I can capture a hundred frames in seconds, but with film, you only get one or two chances…


Still, film will always be one of my favorite ways to experience a wedding—slowly, intentionally, and with a little more heart. Since the lead photographer at this wedding was more focused on “the shot,” I got to wander a bit and capture the quiet, in-between moments—cocktail hour laughs, extra getting-ready scenes, and everything in between.
